Lamai
Beach:
It is the second largest beach on Koh Samui, a site of
Grandfather’s & Grandmother’s Rock (Hinta
Hinyai) the phallic rock formations which lies along the
Southern end of Lamai Bay. It is a most popular attraction
in Koh Samui for locals and tourist alike as their close
resemblance to male and female genitals. Lamai Beach is
well known for its lush tropical gardens, white sandy
beach, crystal clear sea, serenity, palm trees, and beautiful
smiles. The water is deeper than other areas and some
say it’s the most beautiful. It’s an excellent
location for swimming and has much of a well-known nightlife.
There are also some high qualities out town dining, drinking
and party options. Lamai can discover by walking, as the
area is not as large as Chaweng Town.
